After a recent consultation with John Benson, I was so glad I called. John was kind, very easy to talk to and extremely thorough . His knowledge on my EIDL loan issue and resolution was impressive. He explained my situation and the options I had. He took the time to explain in a simple fashion. There is comfort in knowledge . So if you are in a similar spot do yourself a favor and call them. Penglase & Benson and put your worries to rest. I will share their information with anyone and feel confident in doing so. Highly Recommended. Roger Sinistri

Dear Mr. Benson,

I wanted to take a moment to formally recognize and express my sincere appreciation for Ms. Noel
(Estate Administrator/Paralegal)
and the exceptional service she continues to provide throughout the handling of my cousin’s estate matters.

In April of 2024, my first cousin passed away, leaving eight first cousins as next of kin. One of my cousins retained your office to help us navigate the estate process in Pennsylvania, and Noel was assigned as our primary point of contact regarding the estate and real property matters. None of us were familiar with Pennsylvania probate laws, estate procedures, or even the process of working with an out-of-state law office, so from the very beginning we were entering unfamiliar territory.

Throughout this process, Noel has been absolutely exceptional.

She consistently communicates clearly, returns calls and emails promptly, follows through on details, and keeps everyone informed every step of the way. With multiple heirs involved and many moving parts to coordinate, she has remained organized, professional, patient, and dependable throughout the entire process. At every stage, she has made complicated legal and procedural matters feel far less overwhelming because of the calm and capable way she handles them.

What stands out most to me is the combination of professionalism and interpersonal skill that Noel brings to her work. She has an incredible ability to explain things in a way that is understandable without ever making anyone feel rushed or uninformed. In many ways, she has helped guide us through a process we knew virtually nothing about, and she has done so with remarkable consistency, kindness, and professionalism.

Even now, as we continue through the remaining steps involving Pennsylvania estate taxes and final distributions, Noel continues to demonstrate the same high level of responsiveness, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent client service that she has shown from day one.

It is rare to encounter someone who is this efficient, communicative, reliable, and professional all at the same time. Noel represents your office exceptionally well, and I felt it was important to make sure her efforts and the positive impact she has made on our family’s experience were formally recognized.

She is clearly a tremendous asset to your firm, and I am deeply grateful for all of her help throughout this process.

With sincere appreciation,

Beth Bowen, Administratix

I met Mr. Benson at a free seminar which he organized. The topic, generally speaking, centered around estate planning and the value of creating a Family Trust.

He presented a very informative and entertaining argument for why you need four (4) very important documents as part of your estate planning: a Will, a Medical Healthcare Directive (aka a "Living Will"), a Power of Attorney AND a TRUST!

I was already doing a review of our documents and, as a retired attorney (but my experience was not Estates, Wills and Trusts) had decided we needed a Trust. Mr. Benson solidified that belief and I will be seeing Mr. Benson to consult further on our Estate Planning.
