My experience with Matthew J. Norris of Norris Law Group, P.C. was extremely disappointing. I hired and paid him to defend me in a legal case, and based on our initial conversations, I expected a much better level of representation and professionalism. When I first hired him, he was extremely confident, describing my case as easy to defend and explaining that the agreement at the center of the dispute was a weak basis for the opposing party's claims. However, my experience changed significantly after he received payment. At the pre-judgment settlement negotiations, he arrived more than 20 minutes late. During the negotiations, I felt that my position and settlement expectations were not adequately pursued. I was told that the opposing party would contact us within two to three days and accept the offer we had discussed, but that never happened. Three days before the scheduled court date, Matthew contacted me and informed me that the opposing party had made an offer that was, in my view, significantly worse than the settlement opportunity we had previously discussed. I declined the new offer because I wanted to proceed to court and at least attempt to secure terms comparable to those previously available. At that point, instead of moving forward with the defense I had hired him to provide, he told me that he did not believe he could obtain a better outcome than the opposing party's latest offer and suggested that we end our professional relationship. This happened just three days before the court date, leaving me in an extremely difficult position. Ultimately, I suffered a financial loss of more than $90,000. I understand that no attorney can guarantee a particular outcome, but I expected consistent communication, serious negotiation efforts, a clear legal strategy, and professional support through the court date. What disappointed me most was the contrast between the confidence he showed when taking my case and his decision to end our working relationship just days before court. From my perspective, I was left feeling that my case had not been handled with the level of commitment and care I expected after paying for legal representation. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering hiring Matthew J. Norris or Norris Law Group, P.C. to carefully evaluate their options, ask detailed questions about the defense strategy and settlement approach, and make sure they understand what happens if the attorney-client relationship ends shortly before a hearing. This review reflects my personal experience and the outcome of my case. I wish I had made a different choice when selecting legal representation.

I'm a former client. Don't walk away RUN away. A con-artist with a law degree. Hiring him was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Get a second opinion his will be wrong and you will be hurt. He has two faces the one you will see at first the second when he victimizes you. Please look at other lawyers, you can do so much better than flushing money in the Matt Norris toilet.
