I was in a car accident where a drunk driver hit me and my mother. It was a hit and run, and I was desperate for help. I was referred to this attorney, who told me he would take 33% of whatever was recovered. We followed everything he recommended, including going to all the therapy sessions and medical appointments.

My insurance policy covered up to $30,000 per person, and by the end of the case (which took over a year), a settlement of $60,000 was reached. However, my mother and I each received only $8,000. I’m not sure if this is how all cases work, but I personally feel disappointed with the outcome. I’m sharing my experience so others can ask the right questions and be better informed.
