Save yourself the trouble, financial and legal burden.
I hired this attorney Leroy Mitchell in September 2025. He won me over by taking the time to speak with me about my case, before hiring him.
There was an extreme lack of communication. So much to where I asked him to withdraw from my case, one 1/2 months later. Matters were delayed and my case was at a standstill. So much that I found out he was still the attorney listed on my case two months after I asked him to withdraw. I payed him $3,500 and received an invoice months later, after stating that it would be sent to me within 5 business days, and the invoice listed charges I had no clue about. The invoice was also dated over 15 days before it was actually sent to me. He made sure that he wouldn’t refund me a cent of my $3,500 retainer, after doing the bare minimum on my case. I understand that he is a new attorney but that does not justify his last of communication and rudeness. It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. But I won’t recommend this attorney. I asked him on an umber of occasions to file things on my behalf and his response was to “wait on the other party before filing something. Apparently others have the same issue, with him, when it comes to communication. My mediation was even delayed and had to be rescheduled due to a lack of his communication and consideration for others time.
I would recommend you do more research if you’re considering hiring this attorney.
