Weak lawyers that don’t advocate with any passion or skill. Expensive relative to others, with what I imagine are much worse returns on that money. The lawyer I initially had left the firm to practice law in another field, and they tried to shuffle off to another lawyer in the firm. They also find a way to drain about $1000 a month on “Case Reviews and correspondence” even if nothing is happening in your case, with the goal of milking the trust account. Look for other options, and don’t be fooled by a peppy initial consultation.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

I hired this attorney to protect my parental rights. Instead, I felt like she was advocating for my co-parent more than for me. She was unprepared, unresponsive, and I received more billing emails than actual case updates.

The parenting plan she negotiated contained basic drafting errors that permanently reduced my parenting time on multiple holidays—mistakes that should have been caught by any competent family law attorney. Correcting them will now require additional legal fees.

Her communication was dismissive and condescending, and I never felt like she was truly in my corner. Even after sending a detailed written complaint to both her and firm management, I received no response.

Family law clients deserve an attorney who is prepared, responsive, and willing to fight for them. That was not my experience. Maggie Brister.

I was looking for a law firm that could handle a rather strange annulment case. Researching this group, I was SO impressed by their backgrounds, and commitment to helping their clients in need, for such fair fees. My experience with Mathew Barceleau and his staff was quite simply AMAZING.From the first phone consultation, I could tell this team was totally dedicated to helping me harmoniously solve my case. They were professional, and also made me feel almost like family.
