My family member was a client here, so I’m sharing our experience. On the positive side, the paralegal team (Erica and Jessica) was consistently responsive and helpful in explaining process and next steps.

However, our experience with the assigned attorney, Callan Collins, was frustrating and fell far below expectations. The case involved a divorce with no children, and the major terms (including division of assets) were agreed upon relatively early. Despite that, the matter extended for six months and resulted in significant legal fees, largely driven by repeated email back-and-forth with opposing counsel that did not seem to move the case forward in a meaningful way. Communication was also a challenge. We often did not receive timely or complete responses to questions, which led to additional follow-ups and phone calls to get clarity—adding further to overall costs.

In practice, we felt we were paying high legal fees for largely unproductive communication between attorneys that did not result in meaningful case advancement so overall I would not recommend Callan Collins or New Mexico Legal Group
