I had never hired a lawyer before but needed an advisor to help me out of the labyrinth and to establish a solid plan for my staggering student loan. My journey to Latife was first through a call to the WA Bar Association, and next to another attorney who referred her. Before our first and only visit, Latife instructed me on how to download and send my loan history so she could review my case and prepare in advance. This felt promising and allowed our in person visit to be efficient. Latife was patient and knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I understood each step of the paths she was recommending. She sent me home with two plans in case the first was unsuccessful. I was even more surprised that she very quickly responded on a couple of occasions when I later reached out with questions or concerns – even taking the time weeks later to craft a longer message to explain an interest model she thought I may need help grasping. Latife is clearly well informed of government activity regarding student loans, but is also familiar with options borrowers face, and the pitfalls & hidden advantages some routes have over others.
