He may be a good ticket lawyer but as far as a criminal defense attorney, STAY away from him. He will make deals behind your back with the DA. Then you don't find out about it until they day of court. He didn't fight for me at all, he took my money and basically took the short road to his victory (Plea Bargin). He did tell me in front of my father that if I wanted to actually fight and take it to the jury, he would drop me completely as a client. There definitely was some conflict of interest in my case. I didnt know Mr. Wente knew my accuser until the day of court!!!!! Thats why he said he would drop me as a client if I wanted to fight this, all on the DAY of court. There was NO evidence in this case but "he said", "she said" and i still got convicted because he was to lazy to actually put in the work needed for my case......I do not recommend him at all. Just learn from my mistakes and STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!
