I am not someone who typically writes reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience with Moreno Law. In 2022, I retained Moreno Law regarding a 50/50 custody arrangement involving my daughters. Initially, my experience with Anthony was very positive. Communication was clear, and we had everything documented and finalized. In May 2026, my daughters’ father unexpectedly stopped providing financial and physical support for our children. Since my previous case had been closed for approximately four years, I contacted Moreno Law to discuss reopening the matter and pursuing child support. Unfortunately, it took four separate attempts, on different days, before I received a response. The circumstances became more serious when an incident occurred involving my youngest daughter and her father’s girlfriend. Because I had concerns regarding the safety and well-being of both of my daughters, I communicated these concerns directly to Anthony and requested a modification in addition to pursuing child support. I was advised that an emergency modification would be pursued regarding the children’s contact with their father’s girlfriend. However, to my knowledge, that emergency modification was never filed or put into effect. Throughout the process, I found the communication extremely difficult. I generally had to initiate contact myself in order to receive updates. I did not receive consistent communication from the office regarding the status or progress of my case. By the end of September, the child support matter had still not been finalized or, to my understanding, served on their father, despite me providing the office with his information. I also remained concerned that no emergency modification had been implemented regarding the circumstances involving my children. For me, my primary concern was, and continues to be, the safety and well-being of my daughters. That is why the lack of communication and progress was particularly disappointing and frustrating. I also contacted the office on Monday requesting a call back. After receiving no response on Tuesday or Wednesday, I followed up again on Thursday. I ultimately had to contact Caden, a member of the firm's staff, directly to express my concerns regarding the lack of communication and follow-through. I understand that legal matters can be complicated and that circumstances can sometimes affect the timing of a case. However, when children’s safety and family matters are involved, I believe consistent communication and clear updates are especially important. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Moreno Law especially after the fact Moreno Law acted in a way that looked like my daughter’s safety was not a priority. I hope that by sharing my experience, I can encourage families who are searching for an attorney to carefully consider their options and choose someone who is not only genuinely caring but, compassionate, communicative, and committed to advocating for their clients and especially their children.
