I received a referral to Mr. Gerald Monks. I called to get assistance with a matter that needed attention where time is of the essence. I was told he did not call me back after saying he would yesterday because he did not have a chance to review any of the documents online. I asked if he would be able to do so and call me back before I have to leave out of the country for some time. His response "I hope so, I may or may not." As a legal professional myself I have firsthand knowledge of how important timely correspondence is. I am shocked at the lack of professionalism displayed on Mr. Monks' behalf. In the event my professional opinion changes I will gladly revise my response. I have also reached out to the legal service I dealt with that provided the referral to the attorney and was advised they would investigate the issues.
