Where do I begin?

* Started talking to Miller and Miller in May of 2025.
* Had a 1st phone call with Romain between intake form and Joe. They were wonderful.

* 2nd phone call was with Joe on 5/29/25 - everything was great. Was told that once I paid half of the fees, work on my case could begin. So I set up an aggressive payment plan ($800/month for 2 months) so the case work could begin in July 2025. He said this was such a great plan because I was not behind on any bills, but working 70-80 hours a week at two jobs and a perfect candidate for Chapter 7.

* Contract signed 6/3/25

* Gained access to the portal - worst design ever and does not have "spots" for all of the necessary documents they request. It was so confusing, but I still submitted all the requested documents I found upload areas for. The rest were requested from my FIRST paralegal mid-July (7/18/25). I returned all requested documents to her on 7/24/25 and a couple of monthly statements on 7/28/25.

* I reached out to paralegal on 8/7/25.

* Paralegal reviewed documents on 8/13/25 and requested additional documents.

* I sent requested documents on 8/20/25 when pay dates, statements were released, etc.. NO REPONSE.

* I reached out on 9/13/25 with updates of all bank statements, pay stubs, etc. NO RESPONSE.

* I reached out on 10/17/25 with updates of all bank statements, pay stubs, etc. NO RESPONSE.

* November made my final payment. So I'm not some delinquent case.

* I gave Thanksgiving grace and figured these things take time.. I called the paralegal on 12/1/25, no answer. I left a voicemail and sent an accompanying email. NO RESPONSE.

* I called Miller and Miller main phone number on 12/18/25. Receptionist was helpful but said my attorneys were unavailable. At this point, I have heard from no one at Miller and Miller since AUGUST 13, 2025. FOUR MONTHS.

* 1/5/26 Oh look. A new paralegal reaches out, "I will be handling your case moving forward." No apology, no explanation, no mention of the previous paralegal not reaching out for 4 months. Requests to set up a call.

* I immediately set up a call for 1/7/26. I don't receive a call at the time. (What a surprise right?). I called the new paralegal's direct line at the agreed upon time and leave a voicemail. She says "not sure what happened," and we set up another call for later that day.

* 1/7/26 - 1/8/26 Request and send documents.
* 1/12/26 - 1/14/26 Request and send documents.
* Another 3rd and 4th paralegal works on case, 1/28/26-2/11/26 and 3/19/26 request and send documents.

* Matt, a lawyer was assigned my case. He seemed very ...aggravated or displeased with me/the case, because I got paid twice in December when my job switched from monthly pay to bi-weekly pay and this caused extra work for the case. It also (yes, in the contract) was going to cost an extra $300 for extra paperwork to prove I don't make as much money as the double pay stub was making it look like I was making. At this point, my case should've been filed MONTHS AGO.

* A few more phone calls and I'm extremely upset. After years of hard work, I get a new job. Lo and behold, I'm no longer a candidate for Chapter 7.. So, I'm told I should switch to Chapter 13. Are you kidding me? Regardless, my case should've been filed more than half a year ago at this point.....

Matt says he hears my complaints about the paralegal not returning my emails and calls for the four months (but doesn't see anything in the notes on his end) and that Mark the supervising attorney will reach out to me. That was on March 4th. It is now April 1st. He said if Mark thinks my complaints are valid, that the owner Jamie can hear me out.

So, hello, can anyone hear me? Emails and calls go unheard and my paid status has apparently meant nothing. What was meant to be a stress reliever has caused more stress than working two jobs to get my bills paid. I wasn't behind on any of my bills, I was just drowning in debt. Now, I have collection agencies galore and they think I'm lying because I still don't have a Case # after 9 months. Ridiculous.

Do NOT do it! Choose a different company! It took me 2 years to get some where. I had to actually literally scream at someone to get things done. I didn't believe they were a real company at that point. How many times should I have to send my PERSONAL INFORMATION to you before I should start questioning!? I had so many people on my "case". We even paid right away to get it done faster! So many apps my information has been put in to with them! I dont get emails back. Didn't get a good explanation of how to do things they needed so when I was doing it wrong, no one would tell me until I was days/wks of time into it. Even though i'd ask multiple times and get no replies. Emails or calls back. NUMEROUS appointments for calls to come from someone. I'd wait for an hour and get nothing. I'd call and they'd tell me it was rescheduled or wasn't on the schedule, even though I received multiple confirmation emails AND TEXTS about said meeting. Was told over a month ago now that they'd look into student loans for me. Had a "meeting" scheduled... thought i'd know something at all from it. Nope the girl just gets all my personal information, again(probably 30th time in over 2 years of handing them my life) and I was then told she doesn't know anything about anything and someone would call me back. Up to two weeks. OK. I give it a month. I reach out and am told the attorney Brian Miller would call Me and here's his open times, pick one. So I pick one for that day. I stopped in a parking lot to wait so I could concentrate and focus on the call. I waited 45 minutes and, ding ding, you probably guessed it...per the usual for them, i got nothing. Even called and no one answered. Do not trust them. They are seriously not worth your time. They cant keep employees..so you never know who has your personal information and what is actually being done with it! Trust Me, you do not want or need the stress in your life that this company causes! You already have enough going on, hense the reason you are even filing to begin with! They will not make your life easier until you snap and cant handle it anymore. And even then, thats only one department. You need to apparently snap at all of them to make them do their damn jobs! So disappointed in the level of stress they have caused me. Trust me, you deserve better than they will give you!!! They will also send all kinds of look at us emails and text messages...all while avoiding you and your concerns and needs. Always looking for new clients before taking care of the ones they already have paying them!! Good luck if you choose them!!

Do not hire this law firm! They will never return your phone calls and it’s extremely frustrating just trying to figure out who your attorney really is. Even other attorneys who hears Miller & Miller will sigh and say “they’re horrible.”
