I don't like to give negative reviews unless it is warranted. At MGC, the systems are developed to serve them only. No customer service, no communication, no interaction on a closing whatsoever. The attorney was nice enough. But little to no communication prior to closing. When you arrive at their office no one is there to greet you, you have to log into a computer where an off-site staffer says... I'll get someone. Several minutes later, the attorney walked through the hall and saw us waiting (after our appointment was already late) and he said... are you here for a closing... I'll be with you shortly. Then after the closing no communication. Yes, we received an email stating the transaction was recorded but no follow-up. We closed late in the day and I had a funeral the next day. I tried to get my commission check the following day. After sending an email and calling with no resolution I went to the office to find the clerk had mailed our commission check less than 24 hours after closing, again with no communication. I understand being efficient in your processing but they have lost all customer service elements. It's telling that the only two reviews they have are bad reviews.

I want to provide honest feedback regarding my closing experience. Unfortunately, I was not notified of my final closing costs until approximately 30 minutes before my appointment on the day of closing. I never heard from anyone at this practice at all for the entire week prior to closing like I was instructed by the lender. The most recent correspondence from them was 1 month till closing. This is Highly inappropriate. This lack of communication caused significant stress and inconvenience, especially given the importance of this milestone on closing day.

Additionally, after I left the office and completed the bank wire, I received a phone call stating that my funds had been received—followed by another call acknowledging that the message was meant for a different client. This added to the confusion and frustration.

Overall, the miscommunication and last-minute updates made what should have been an exciting and memorable day very stressful. I did not enjoy closing day at all, and I hope this feedback helps improve the process for future clients.
