I cannot say enough positive things about this office and Attorney Lennen (formerly Markou).

I came with an absolute train wreck of a custody case. Right from the start Colleen developed a plan and went to work. She knows the law very well and knows how it applies to your situation. She was not fooled by the nonsense that the other party attempted. She is effective yet understanding. I emailed her with all types of questions and she promptly responded with an answer that was clear and easy to understand. Her assistant, Catie was very helpful and understanding as well. They were able to schedule time for a meeting or a phone call whenever I needed help.

Divorce and custody are some of the toughest things you will go through. If a compromise cannot be reached, Colleen Lennen and her team will fight for you. I would recommend her to anyone dealing with this type of situation.

I tried to ignore the 1 star Reviews this attorney has, but they are true and I wouldn't recommend this attorney to anyone. 1. Friends with opposing attorney someone stated, absolutely true. 2. Wastes time and money and resolves nothing, also true. 3. The lack of investigating a deed registered in kalamazoo county would have saved me almost 50k. 4. A child who is not biologically mine I am now paying child support for, when my demand was to help the child not pay support (when he's been in my care for over 6 months I'm still paying his mother support, and she's also collecting ssi @600/mth). 5. The judge did not like Colleen, which caused a lot of negative consequences. I wish I would have searched for an attorney that would have cared about my children and my situation, instead of talking about vacation plans with opposing attorney. If I had a second chance I would have gone with an attorney that cared.
