I paid nearly $40,000 for an incomplete divorce process, only to have to hire another attorney to finish what Mr. Mack started. Not a single decision was made in our favor, and when it came time for trial, he quoted me an additional $18,000 for just one day of work. Throughout the process, it felt like he was dragging his feet and taking advantage of the situation. While they might be more experienced in bankruptcy law, I strongly advise against using them for family law cases.

They nickel and dime you for everything. For example, I provided my only copy of key documents, and later, when I needed copies, they turned me away at the office and made me use the web portal to request them. Then, I was charged for picking up the documents, even though I never had direct contact with an attorney. Tens of thousands of dollars were wasted.

They are extremely slow. It’s hard to understand why something that could have been put in front of a judge after just six months took so long. I sent a message through their portal, and a month and a half later, I finally got a response—likely because I was shopping around for a new lawyer and they got a heads up. They regularly ignore your requests. I’ve asked for the same document filed in court by opposing counsel, and they’ve repeatedly ignored me. It’s a document they should’ve uploaded to the portal in the first place.

We didn’t win a single decision, and after seven different judge rulings, we should’ve at least won one. They weren’t prepared—didn’t bring up key points in court, so I had to step in and do much of the talking myself. My ex even testified that the evidence I presented was correct, yet we still didn’t get a favorable decision.

The team was friendly, but it felt like they had little to no experience in family law. I would not recommend them for this type of case.
