Matt Blit was phenomenal, when I started to research law firms the first thing that I thought was Levine & Blit was too big and that there was no way they were going to take my tiny case, but that could not have been further from the truth!

I was dealing with an incredibly stressful discrimination situation at work, and it had gotten to a point where I was in tears and did not know what to do. Natasha (The most helpful and capable woman you could ever ask for) called from Levine & Blit to review something from my paperwork and I explained to her what was happening. The attorney I was scheduled to speak with the next day had already left for the day, and Natasha went above and beyond and tracked down Matt Blit and he called me within 30 minutes.

Matt assured me that he would take care of everything, and he absolutely did, Matt is without a doubt the most responsive attorney I have ever worked with. I could e-mail him anytime and his responses were almost always immediate, which is unheard of, and when I was nervous or had concerns, he would schedule a call immediately. I always knew what was happening with the case.

I have heard cases like mine sometimes take 1-2 years to be resolved but Matt settled mine in less than 3 months which helped me move on with my life. Matt treats you like a person and not like a case or pay day, he has strong character and will fight for you regardless of how large or small the case is.

I left a review earlier and they claimed I am spreading false information. I am trying to figure out what part was “ False”. The reality is I spoke to their intake specialist twice, I even sent her evidence, at no point did she say I would need to pay to speak with an attorney “ to see if” they can help.

In addition, to my understanding employment attorneys work on a contingency basis. They normally take 40% of the settlement client received at no point should you have to pay to speak with an attorney.

One thing that I have learned is that the majority of white attorneys are racist, I even heard the same thing from black attorneys who work at their firms. They take on cases based on their own personal opinions on that person without understanding the full story, because after all black folks always gotta be guilty of something. By the way, this statement came from a white attorney I spoke to. Maybe he forgot I was a black woman when he was speaking on the phone with me that day.

Lastly I’ve spoken with a few attorneys, this law firm was the first one that asked me for money upfront to speak with an attorney. What's so special about them, especially when they can not guarantee any results? At the end of the day, there’s not an attorney that’s going to silence me from speaking my truth. My review was based on my own experiences and that’s the end of that!
