I found it exceptionally easy to make an in-person appointment by calling their number. My challenge was that I had made a huge mistake in my Medicare enrollment and purchased an expensive insurance plan that I could not use. The staff were fantastic - professional, caring, asked good questions to help me get the problem resolved. I am forever grateful for their services. (Following their advice, I requested and was granted a full refund from the insurance company that "mistakenly" sold me that pricey policy.)

I called to try to make sense of my medicare ppo plan. Not helpful at all. My questions about medicare plans went unanswered; I asked how much medicare paid for out of network doctors and all she could tell me, repeatedly, was what I told her I understood about my plan, which was no answer at all. She then said she'd make an appointment for April (too late for the March 31 cut-off date) but then said I should make an appointment for later in the year as they don't know what next year will bring. Brokers can't be trusted, doctors' offices misinform about plans, hicap offers nothing.

Note to supervisors: tell your at home workers to not be working in the kitchen or somewhere where home noises (clanking plates and silverware, animals, kids) end up part of the conversation.
