Steven Hoffman represented us in seeking compensation from a renter for extensive damage to the property; he discussed with us various options and we decided to sue in court. We got a judgement of a lien on the renter's property and in time, the lien was paid in full! Earlier this year, I was involved in a dispute between myself and the co-owner of a Sunnyvale residential property we had a shared interest in. The dispute was not about the eventual sale of the property, but for compensation for the very extensive renovations and remodeling I had personally performed to the highest standard, over a several year period. There was a mutual agreement that I would be compensated for my work upon the eventual sale of the property.
