I contacted this firm regarding a serious CDL lifetime disqualification and PCR matter. When I called, a paralegal took my personal information including my name and date of birth, which led me to believe they were seriously evaluating my case. I was quoted a $10,000 retainer before anyone had even heard the details of my situation.
While on hold waiting to speak with an actual attorney my phone disconnected. I requested a callback and never received one. I followed up and still received no callback.
I came to this firm with a well documented, time sensitive legal matter involving my livelihood and my freedom. The lack of follow through and professionalism was disappointing, especially for a firm with their reputation.
I cannot speak to their legal abilities as I never got that far. What I can say is that a person facing a serious legal crisis deserves to at least have their story heard before being quoted a retainer fee.
I have since moved on to find representation elsewhere.
This is an update to my previous review, nothing I’m saying is defamatory or untrue! This review is based on my personal experience with this law office!!
Update — It Got Worse:
After this review was posted, I finally got the callback I had been waiting for. I wish I could say it made a difference. It didn’t.
I spoke with two attorneys at this firm. They were smug and condescending — and made it clear before even reviewing a single document that they weren’t interested. What they don’t know is that I came prepared. I have everything organized and documented. I have a viable defense. None of that was given the chance to matter.
They declined to represent me.
Then, almost immediately after, the office called again. I knew exactly why. Not to make things right — but to try to get this review taken down. I won’t be doing that.
What hurts most is that this involves my livelihood and my freedom. This isn’t abstract. This is my life. And I deserved better than to be dismissed over a phone call by attorneys who never even looked at what I had. A person in crisis deserves to be heard. I wasn’t.
I’ve moved on. But I won’t be silenced.
