I advise all Chinese people to stay away from this law firm. My friend used them for her asylum case. My friend was arrested and imprisoned for a crime because she only had a work permit. ICE won't release her. My friend called me from prison and asked me to contact this immigration law firm. The Chinese-speaking legal assistant immediately asked me for $3,500. The law firm wanted to bail her out of prison. She asked me to relay her message to my friend. I consulted three other immigration lawyers. They all said that even if I paid the money, bail wouldn't be possible. This law firm is trying to trick us into paying money even if they can't bail my friend. My friend chose to return to China. She asked me to relay her message to her lawyer to close her asylum case. However, this female assistant told me she couldn't represent my friend and told me not to call her anymore. She said I could represent my friend when she asked for legal fees. Now that my friend wants to close the case, she says she can't represent her. Her attitude was very bad. My friend has been calling the law firm since prison, but no one answers. This law firm only called me back once because they wanted my friend to pay $3,500. They will either ignore the remaining calls or messages if they don't continue to pay their legal fees. I suggest all Chinese people stay away from this law firm. Do not go here. It is a scam. He told us that he understood what to do and then would not reply for months. If we do get ahold of him and ask what to do when we got the results, he would hang up. Do not make the same mistake as we did.
