I called the Law Offices of Andrew Ritholtz to ask about my situation, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the experience. During the conversation, I felt that the attorney was rude and condescending. He didn’t seem genuinely interested in listening to what I was saying and repeatedly cut me off while I was trying to explain my situation and ask questions. I work in Human Resources, so professionalism, communication, active listening, and treating people with courtesy and respect are especially important to me. I understand that not every case may be a fit, but there is still a professional way to communicate that. I was simply trying to understand whether the firm could help me, and I did not feel that I was treated with the professionalism or respect I expected. It also shouldn’t take a negative review on yelp for someone to receive a simple courtesy call or follow-up. A little communication and consideration can go a long way. He may practice law, but perhaps practicing people skills would be just as valuable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.
