				A warrant was issued for me 22 years after the crime. At the time it was a felony, but now is considered a misdemeanor. I moved out of the state of Oregon in 2004 and live 1800 miles away. Rob Cleland took my case anyway and went to bat for me. I was at a loss. It had been over 20 years and I had a valid driver's license, a house, a passport, I pay taxes and vote. I wasn't in hiding or off the grid. All I could think of was that I was going to lose everything. Rob talked me off the ledge on more than one occasion and in the end he got the DA to dismiss my case. I am so grateful to him and I cannot say enough good things about Rob. 				Robert got my “two” Class A misdemeanors dismissed by the Clackamas County DA. With my situation (very complex), Robert guided me with the steps necessary to prove to the DA I did not commit these charges or “any” crime!

I knew I was innocent but with ASP Clackamas involved, the Canby Police, and what they believed were crimes that I committed after interviewing my wife who I am the 24/7 caregiver for since her 2021 stroke and leg amputation I was arrested and charged.

I have never been in trouble with the law or law-enforcement in my 60 years. I had no idea where to begin. Using Google search I came to find Robert and his practice. From our first meeting he was the only one who listened to me and me explaining my wife's severe brain injury from her stroke and what had been going on with her before one of my family member's called ASP.

I am so fortunate I found Robert. He did all the steps necessary including independent professionals to test and interview witnesses.  With all work he did and facts he obtained, the DA had to believe me and dismiss these charges.

I am still so numb after everything I and my wife went through after law enforcement got involved and they would not listen to me at all. Just cuffs and Clackamas County Jail.
