Law Office of Dorothy Ferguson

Booked a $100 phone consultation for the next day for my boyfriend’s case. She never called him at their scheduled time. He called the office after he didn’t receive a call and no one answered or ever returned his voicemails. She was happy to take that $100 though. Due to her unprofessionalism we decided not even try again with her. But I am unable to get the $100 back, even though she never provided any type of service to me. PLEASE do not waste your time or money with this lawyer.

Stay far away from this office! She is a joke! Doesn’t return phone calls. Takes your money and does absolutely nothing. I don’t even know how she is still practicing! Will lie about anything!!

Would most definitely give a 0 if at all possible. Has to be hands down the worst attorney I ever count have retained. The first consultation went so well with how many things she said she would start doing as soon as they money was turned in. I got the retainer fee to her in less than one week and of course NOTHING that was stated in the consultation happened. Instead, I received a phone call from her after hours stating she talked to the other party and was accusing me of not telling her things in my consultation which had been blatantly explained as I am a detailed note taker who wrote down her responses to everything. The only thing she had to file for me she filed incorrectly & always lead me in the wrong direction with advice making me sound stupid when it came to reiterating it to the other party. All in all, I finished my process pro se with a better outcome than I ever had while having Dorothy as my attorney. 10/10 do not recommended. Also still waiting on my itemized bill 30 plus days after asking her to withdrawal from my case. Highly advise to seek counsel elsewhere.
