Kj does not take any prisoners! She was an awesome anchor during the most stressful time in my whole life and kept me focused on what mattered in my child custody case, which I'm sure was very difficult because i was a total panicked mess. I was dealing with serious post separation abuse from my ex who was leveraging our son to cause turmoil in my life at his expense. She was able to showcase to the judge what was really going on behind closed doors and did not allow my opposition to paint a false picture of me being an abusive, unfit, or mentally ill parent. It was a very long and grueling trial. By the end of it I got sole custody, parenting time restored to a MUCH more reasonable and child friendly schedule, child support ordered, AND he has to pay the attorney fees. I am SO very grateful to Kj and her team for protecting me and my kids and putting an end to the vexatious litigation and daily struggle with my ex. She has lazer focus, a winning attitude, and a particular ability to get under an abusers skin and make his supporters feel stupid on the stand (while still being polite and professional) that I find uniquely satisfying. KJ is a green lawyer. She did sloppy court filings multiple times (which were returned and slowed down the process), fraternized with the opposing attorney, took many vacations after which she was slow to catch up on things and didn't return calls in a timely manner. She has potential but is still learning the ropes. Not ready for the big leagues!
