Katelynn Mitchell and her colleague Merritt Decker are the main reason my husband lost 50/50 custody of his children to their abuser! To say she's a horrible attorney would be an understatement. She failed him and his children on so many levels, and refused to do even the most simple things in a custody case like getting financials from the other party, doing a discovery, and submitting a parenting plan. Even with all that and more it cost us over $10k. She's all about the money. And her disdain for the new bill in Idaho to protect Idahos children proves exactly this. Aviod her at all costs. Literally.

Katelynn definitely gets 5 stars from me. She is an awesome person first and foremost. I got along great with her in every in-person meeting and online encounter we had during my divorce process. My divorce process was drawn out and took some time to finalize. She was very patient with me and my now-ex-wife in working through asset division details. She also gave me personal counsel on several issues that had the potential to make the process more unpleasant than it was....I really appreciated her personal opinion and legal counsel in these matters. I would recommend Katelynn to anyone seeking out a divorce attorney here in Idaho. Thank you Katelynn!!

Hooper Mitchell & Associates were extremely professional and really looked out for my best interest during my divorce. Not many men come out of a divorce as a "winner" but with Katelynn as my attorney, I came out of my divorce better than most men in my position and I have her to thank for that.
