Ms Mitchell is a very thoughtful, thorough attorney. She did her very best to make sure the kids were given time with their father and that he did not get taken advantage of. The judge however was incredibly difficult and narrow minded. He didn't even listen to half the evidence she presented, sided with an adulterous ex and used the wrong name for him several times. Some of these judges need to retire. And the laws regarding father's rights in Idaho NEED CHANGE.

Katelynn Mitchell and her colleague Merritt Decker are the main reason my husband lost 50/50 custody of his children to their abuser! To say she's a horrible attorney would be an understatement. She failed him and his children on so many levels, and refused to do even the most simple things in a custody case like getting financials from the other party, doing a discovery, and submitting a parenting plan. Even with all that and more it cost us over $10k. She's all about the money. And her disdain for the new bill in Idaho to protect Idahos children proves exactly this. Aviod her at all costs. Literally.
