Jay H. Krulewitch, Attorney at Law

I don't usually write Yelp reviews unless I am horrified and wish to write a scathing review, but after reading the only other review of Jay Krulewitch, I felt the need to correct the record. As you can tell from the diatribe previously posted, the writer of the one-star review has "some issues." Jay is a remarkable and compassionate lawyer and as good as they get.

I was desperate for an attorney or so I thought. Jay was terrible, he met me the first time at his office in Lake City in which I was hit by a car full of kids either drunk or stupid or just looking for an accident. Jay came out and started being a P.I. guy and I told him I was not really hurt, I had called the police and it was NOT MY FAULT. He spent 1/2 hr out there with the jive-ass kids- what a waste of my time. I was there for a court ordered document for protection from my con-man brother who has taken my 93 year old aunt to an attorney, Karl Flaccus and Patrick Carter of Seattle, WHO ARE NOT ETHICAL ATTORNEYS, and she has a little dementia but they thought she was fine August 13, 2018 when my con-man brother took her into their office, Dennis Hoffman, my con-man brother who took my 89 year old mother to an attorney in Wedgewood and had her change her will to just him in 08. WHAT CREEPS THEY BE! THE DOCUMENT ONLY COST $785.00 THEY KNOW FAMILY WILL ALL GET ATTORNEYS AND GREASE THE WHEELS, and you will all spend 100's of thousands of DOLLARS$$$ Anyway I talked to Jay on the phone and he told me he would meet w/me either Friday or Monday (OCT 12th or Oct 15th) around 2 pm, he never called me. I was talking to my cousin (the victim) on Monday Oct 15th 2018 about 2:10 and she said call him. I did and he said " you are supposed to be here?" I said "YOU NEVER CALLED ME" He said let's make it Tuesday Oct 16th @ 2:30 pm. I said okay. I knew the area was busy w/o parking so I went early to get a place to park, I'm disabled. When I finally got his attention he was falling asleep. This guy has sleep apnea. I was trying to tell him what I wanted to be represented for , it's complicated. I watched his eyes close as I was talking so I talked louder. He said basically nothing and he would meet with me before the Shoreline Court Hearing Wednesday Oct 17th and handed me a pay schedule of his and I gave him all original documents because he was too lazy to go downstairs he has a young wife and a young child and he is too old when he was sleeping while I was trying to explain my case I was terrified. I am 70, disabled and on a fixed income of less than 17,000 a year. The next day he was late to court. I mean late being he was there 1 minute before 9am and the time was 8:45. I was embarrassed. My brother's were laughing as was their attorney. My attorney clearly offended the judge. So the next time I am supposed to see him Monday @ 2pm he cancels on the last minute and then I again am seeing him @ 3:30 on a Friday so guess who still keeps falling asleep and tells me I am going to be the lamb for slaughter in this case for my cousin, screw me and the protection order. This time I was afraid and I called my cousin's attorney and left the message that I had NO CONFIDENCE in JAY KRULEWITCH and I knew I was screwed. She was there in court in the back row at 8:30 am My brother and his attorney were there and my attorney comes in the very last one AGAIN. My attorney never e-mailed the other attorney and again we had the same judge, he told me he was up all night last night doing my thing, he also asked for another 3,500.00 so 7,000.00 to FALL ASLEEP AND I BET HIS DR HAS DIAGNOSED HIM WITH SLEEP APNEA ! The Judge was so pissed off at him and he was arguing with my brother's attorney , it was EMBARRASSING I got $490.00 back from this oinker as I call them. MEN ARE PIGS SOMETIME especially when they are fleecing an old lady who is nice. NEVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE ON A CONTINGENCY ! He cashed both of my checks OCT 29th my case in court was OCT 31st and I LOST BECAUSAE OF HIM. I could have represented myself and lost or maybe won.
