I highly recommend not using Jacob Emrani's law firm based on my personal experience.

I hired them believing they would fight for me and advocate for my best interests after my accident. Instead, I felt like I had to fight for myself every step of the way. When I told my attorney I was still in pain and wanted to see my treating doctor, I was told the doctor wasn't accepting appointments and was encouraged to see another provider that would have cost me additional money. A few days later, I contacted my doctor's office myself and was scheduled immediately. The office also confirmed they had never been contacted by my attorney's office, despite what I had been told.

When it came time to settle my case, I had to challenge the fee breakdown, negotiate reductions on my own behalf, and repeatedly ask for transparency. It was only after I pushed back that my medical bills and attorney fees were reduced, increasing my recovery by $2,400. Had I simply accepted the original breakdown, I would have walked away with significantly less.

While Mitz was responsive at times and helped move certain requests along, the overall experience left me feeling misled, pressured, and unsupported. I expected my legal team to advocate for me--not for me to negotiate my own settlement and question whether I was being given accurate information.

My advice to anyone considering this firm is to review every document carefully, ask questions, and never assume the first offer or explanation is in your best interest.
