Sent a email about 3 weeks ago and never got any assistance or any acknowledgement.
Edit: To blantly ignore a email and not even message back to schedule a time as you cant respond to the inquiries that are stated in a email, a buissness would offer other options to set something up and to discuss.

I can’t really rate Humphrey’s Law firm. They may have been the best thing ever and I guess I’ll never know. I called Humphrey’s Law firm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week for an appointment. I was told one of the lawyers would get back to me. I was even informed Bonnie was in all day yesterday. I never got a call. I guess tomorrow I’ll have to go elsewhere. Like I said, it may have been wonderful.

I called with a few questions. I am trying to get a divorce. I inquired whether they take the volunteer/reduced fee program. He got very snippy with me. Kept saying he didn't mean to be crass but it was just rude. He made me feel bad for not being in a place to pay astronomical fees and just asking questions. He told me the consultation was $175 but couldn't tell me any other fees without seeing a lawyer because they all charge differently.

He actually told me to go take out a loan or ask family for money. He told me they also have bills to pay and wouldn't be able to help me unless I could come up with a lot of money.

She served as opposing counsel in my daughter and son-in-law’s case. Unfortunately, she treated her own client — my son-in-law’s child’s mother the same way. They had reached agreed-upon terms, yet Bonnie disregarded her own client’s wishes, failed to respond to her calls and emails, and continued billing her.

I was also informed that even brief calls to her office resulted in charges for time that was not actually used. In addition, she submitted a proposed Order that had been generated using AI and contained numerous inaccuracies and incomplete information.

I strongly encourage you to obtain your billing records and consider reporting her to the Bar. I have even offered to assist my son-in-law’s child’s mother in doing the same. You would likely be better served by retaining an attorney who will properly file your uncontested paperwork and agreement.

This was also an uncontested matter that took almost a year.

We have been working on an uncontested parenting plan agreement and child support adjustment. Bonnie has left us on read and continued to make confusing adjustments and billing additional fees. This has cost us close to $10k in 5 months between her fees and child support on hold. Again, for an uncontested agreement between parties. We are close to going to the Bar at this point due to lack of responsiveness.

She was always upfront about her objectives and made sure to include us in key decisions, instilling a sense of confidence and trust that is hard to find. People in the legal community respect Bonnie, so she connected us with resources we would have never been able to access without her. Her ability to communicate with clients, opposing parties, and the court in a way that is honest, tactful, and even joyful is truly a gift—and well worth the investment in her. Meanwhile, Barry was instrumental, organizing documents and coordinating tasks, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that my grandma's legal strategy was well executed. Just a brilliant legal team whose passion for justice shines through in how they operate.

But beyond their legal expertise, Bonnie and Barry were incredible friends to our family. They showed genuine care and kindness, visiting my grandmother in the hospital when she was lonely and even connecting her with basic necessities when we were unable to. Barry was quick to encourage my grandma as she lay sick and found ways to make her laugh when she felt defeated, which meant the world to me. Bonnie did the same thing, but in her own way, and as a pair they brought more light together than either one of them could have brought alone. They were always reachable and never made excuses in the face of setbacks—which are common in family law, unfortunately—and busy schedules, embodying the highest standard of client service, integrity, wisdom, and friendship. If you're looking for a family lawyer, these qualities are rare jewels.

Even after my grandmother passed away, Bonnie and Barry shared a meal with us, and we just hungout together. They are, without a doubt, some of the kindest and most genuine people you could ever hope to meet, and their professional skills are equally impressive. As someone aspiring to become a lawyer myself and with years of experience working with law offices around America, I learned a great deal from Bonnie and Barry and felt incredibly fortunate to have them advocating for my grandmother. They are the real deal.
