After telling you about their shark and how well they’ll fight for you, , they will take your $5000 retainer and do essentially nothing to defend you, even tell you that you’re guilty. Then, they Motion to Remove Themselves from the case right before trial, but try to KEEP all the $5000. It’s in dispute and will go to small claims if that doesn’t work. Better off sticking with the free public defender - same, sloppy end result of a worthless plea bargain. They refused to counter-offer the plea bargain as well!! Hired a new attorney and settled the case with my counter offer within a week of this firm being GONE. And good riddance to Hills at Law!!! and their Conflicts of Interest

After the unexpected death of my mother while we were out of state things just kept getting worse and i made some bad decisions. I was arrested and spent one night in jail. I began by calling several law offices, hoping to find someone with values, morals, and ethics. A couple of places seemed more interested in signing me up and taking my money than truly understanding the nature of my situation. This was the first office I contacted where the intake person genuinely listened to my story and to all of my concerns about why I needed an attorney.

The woman who handled the intake was exactly what I had been looking for. She seemed to have a solid legal understanding of the context of my situation, and after speaking with her, I could tell she was sympathetic and understanding. They then set me up with Arden, and when I spoke with him, he also showed both understanding and compassion for what I was dealing with.

I found myself in a position where I needed an attorney because the police lacked the ability and training to effectively do their job. Arden did a good job presenting the information and evidence before the court. He gave solid legal advice, and I truly feel he fought for me. He worked to bring the truth before the court, responded to my emails in a timely manner, and made sure I received court documents promptly. He also gave me realistic expectations about the possible outcomes, which I appreciated.

Attorney fees are expensive in general, but I do feel they did what they could to keep their services as affordable as possible. I also appreciate that they were willing to work with me financially.
What I like most about Arden is that he genuinely cares. He is easy to talk to, down-to-earth, and at the same time very capable as an attorney.
