Over six weeks wasted — extremely frustrating experience. June 30, 2026 — I paid $1,500 for an initial consultation with attorney Matt Buschi. During the consultation, Matt discussed my case, the expected fees, agreed to take the case, and said the engagement letter would follow. June 30–July 15 — Matt and I exchanged emails to clarify a few points regarding pricing and the engagement. It took about a week to get a response on these points. July 15 — The firm sent the engagement agreement. I responded with a few proposed revisions the same day. July 16 — Natalie (Receptionist) confirmed that my requests had been forwarded for approval. July 18, July 22, July 25, and July 29 — I repeatedly followed up, but was still left waiting for the firm to finalize the agreement and confirm whether they would proceed. August 5, 2026 — I had to contact them again and point out that there had been no meaningful progress for weeks and that my case was time-sensitive. I still received no response from anyone. What makes me extremely frustrated is that if the firm did not want to take my case, they could have simply told me. I would have accepted a clear “no” and immediately found another attorney. Instead, I was left in limbo for over six weeks, waiting for a firm that had already agreed to take my case, while a time-sensitive legal matter was being delayed. This was not just poor communication — it caused me to lose valuable time on my case. After paying $1,500 for the consultation, I expected basic communication and professionalism. Leaving a client waiting for over six weeks without an answer is unacceptable. Very disappointing experience. I would not use this firm again.

Honestly great service but definitely took advantage of overcharging me. I was told one thing and they did something else. My advice if are going to use them have everything in writing or honestly find some other lawyers that are not going to take advantage of you. I paid over 13k for one demand letter when I was told it was going to be something else. Not fair! Did nothing to fix it. Also goes to show what they are really trying to do.

I hired Hendershot to review a contract for me. I paid $1250 for the initial revision which he did in the most awkward and unprofessional way over the phone. Then I paid $2300 for him to implement his recommendations. It’s been over a month and half and I still can’t get a hold of him or anyone at his office beside the front desk that keeps saying someone will get in touch with me soon. Last conversation I had with the front desk, I told them I want a full refund and still no correspondence. This is probably one of the least professional companies you can ever deal with. I will be calling my bank to dispute this charge because services were not rendered after my payment was collected.
