The funds for our new home were being drawn from a personal investment account which requires multiple layers of verification. Because we wanted to be certain of a timely transfer, we asked repeatedly over the course of two full business days for the numbers for wiring the money for our closing. We were told that we would receive everything the first day, but Bridgett simply refused to provide us with the information. She managed to take the time write a detailed email explaining why she was unable to complete a simple task, and seemed oblivious to the fact that clients have no interest in hearing someone complain about their workload. She also dodged a question about a previously undisclosed fee.

When we were finally provided with the wiring information it was after hours so we could not reach anyone in the closing office, as required, to obtain the last four digits of the routing number. This was the Friday evening before our closing on a Wednesday that was preceded by a bank holiday for Veterans day. We were forced into a very narrow window to complete our transaction, and spent the weekend worrying about whether there would be enough time to get the paperwork completed on our end. Had we been driving to the closing as originally planned, we would not have been able to complete the transfer of funds in time. My husband told me that if we did not like the sellers and our agent so much, he would walk away and write off the deposit as a loss.

If you enjoy being angry, worried, and frustrated, and you would rather hear excuses than see results, this may be the firm for you. We believe, however, that there is enough stress involved with buying a home without having to deal with breezy incompetence.
