Suspicion of unethical handling. I hired Candyce King to execute a life estate. It is my suspicion that since she had contact with my former step-father right before I walked into the office, there was a back door transaction made to assure the deed never made it to the county clerk, which it did not. Nor was the check ever cashed. Ms. King of course claims it must have been lost in the mail. Candyce King became very elusive in her handling of this case once this issue was brought to her attention, and when Ms. King was not relieved of her liability, she refused to pursue any further action and dropped me as her client. I see that I am not the only former client suspected of unethical handling by this law office. Ms. King is very condescending in her verbiage between attorney and client and her lack of proper usage of grammar and jargon make me question her professional capability in the court of law. She seemed to lose her footing when I made her aware of my suspicion.
