A friend of mine is afraid to post a review for fear of retaliation. She worked with Rick Eisen and apparently he dropped the ball and failed to do something that needed to be done which cost my friend and he still billed at the full rate.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Mat Eilerts. During one of the most important times in my life — a custody battle and high stress divorce — I did not feel that my priorities were treated with the seriousness and focus they deserved. Despite having previously been granted significant custody, the outcome of my case resulted in a substantial loss of parenting time.

Throughout the process, I often felt that the financial aspects of the case were emphasized more than the overall strategy and long-term goals. I also experienced interactions that felt unprofessional and blurred personal boundaries including meetings where alcohol was being offered, and I was told I would not be charged for the session by both Mat Eilerts and Michelle Laws owner of Divorced dollars.

Overall, I did not feel adequately supported, protected, or represented in a matter that was deeply important to me. I would encourage others to carefully evaluate whether this attorney’s approach aligns with their expectations for professionalism and advocacy.
