I’m a medical doctor (surgeon). Stay away! Paid $400 for a consult and put down a $10k retainer. I went through three attorneys who quit, and my retainer was being depleted with nothing to show for it. Despite repeated emails, calls, and requests for billing information, I received no response. File complaint with the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission and sent a formal demand letter. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.

This firm comes highly recommended on social media, especially in groups with other federal employees, but their average Google reviews ended up reflecting my experience more accurately.

The attorneys we spoke with during the initial consultation and follow-up call were professional, reasonable, and took the time to explain their background. However, there seems to be a disconnect between the attorneys, paralegals, and clients.

During both calls, we were told by the attorney a contract would be sent, but even weeks later, it never arrived and there was no follow-up. This lines up with what you see on Indeed/Glassdoor, where employees mention being overworked.

We’ll continue looking for counsel, but it’s frustrating to have to chase down a potential attorney for something as basic as a contract especially after being told to expect it.

It also raises concerns about whether important paperwork might fall through the cracks during an actual case.

Contacted the firm via their website. Was immediately contacted by a “law assistant “ agreeing to a consultation and laying out the process. Was even given an appointment time and a lawyers name. I did what the assistant asked in the reply agree to the consultation and upload docs. Then… crickets. Despite attempts to contact said assistant (via email and phone (they have a ridiculous convoluted phone tree)) no further communication occurs and the date for the consultation passed. Beware!!

Don’t even bother calling this office. The staff was okay, but the attorney sounded like he needed his fix of some drug cocktail he hadn’t had all day. Very unprofessional, would give 0 stars if I could.
