My review reflects my personal experience with Emejuru Law.

To clarify the timeline, the email confirmation I received on January 15 stated: “Let’s talk at 4:15 on Monday. I will give you a call then.” That was the date and time I relied on for the consultation.

When the call did not occur, I followed up and received a message stating that the holiday had not been factored in and that the consultation had actually been scheduled for “tomorrow at 4:15 pm, not today,” along with a suggestion to reschedule for Friday.

Because the written confirmation and the later explanation did not match, the situation was confusing and frustrating from a client perspective. I understand that scheduling mistakes can happen, but clear and consistent communication is important when someone has paid for a legal consultation.

For that reason, I chose not to proceed further and sought counsel elsewhere. I’ve simply shared the timeline as reflected in the written correspondence and will leave it there so others can draw their own conclusions.

I had a frustrating experience with Emejuru Law.

During my initial contact, my case was dismissed very quickly without much discussion. At the time I assumed it might have been due to limited information, so I later scheduled a consultation to discuss the details further.

Unfortunately, the scheduled call did not go well. The attorney did not attend the appointment, and when I followed up, the explanation changed — first it was suggested the date was a holiday, and then that the call had been scheduled for a different day. However, the original date had been clearly confirmed beforehand.

I understand that schedules can get busy and things can occasionally be missed. What concerned me more was the tone of the interaction afterward, which felt dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational when I was simply trying to clarify the situation.

Because of this experience, I decided not to move forward and sought counsel elsewhere. I also later noticed that other reviewers had described similar experiences, which made me wish I had taken those warnings more seriously before paying for the consultation.

I hope this feedback encourages clearer communication and more respectful interactions with potential clients in the future.
