Where do I even start?! The whole staff is wonderful. But Nichole went above & beyond for my family. 5 years & 4 lawyers into a crazy custody battle that just wouldnt end, she fought for us. She genuinely cared about what was happening to us & helped put an end to it. Super sad I didnt find her in the beginning. Probably woulda saved alot of time & money! Super down to earth and willing to go to bat for you & your kids! Would give alot more than 5 stars if it was an option!

Nichole was wonderful to work with, she answered any questions I had and never made me feel rushed during an appointment. Divorce is a hard thing to go through but it was comforting to have a kind, compassionate lawyer working with me. If you are looking for a great lawyer Nichole Nabors can't be beat. The Office staff are also amazing.

This review’s intent is to inform the public about my NEGATIVE experience with the representation of Nichole Nabors at Dudgeon & Nabors Law Group. This representation ended up costing me OVER $10,000.00 of UNNECESSARY money due to HER incompetence.

This is why I feel that it is my duty to inform the public of her poor actions and representation that cost me so much in my divorce. This is a brief description of the issues that I had with my representation of Nichole as my lawyer as well as her law firm that ended up costing me so much money due to her poor representation.

On my initial consultation appointment with Nichole, we talked about my case, and how my ex and I were going through a dissolution. We were only married for 2 years and a few months at the time. When I brought up my main concern, which was the house that I bought pre-marital that I was selling, Nichole informed me that my ex-wife would not have any rights to the house or the profits. This would be a lie that I would find out later in the case due to the “Dower Rights” This one lie that Nichole told me would cost me over $20,000.00.

My realtor is the one that brought this up and Nichole acted like she’s never heard of this law/right. This was a major concern, not to mention, the almost yearlong divorce hearings which would cost me another $10,000.00 plus through the Veterans Affair, due to the ex’s kids who are not even mine nor do I have any ties to them. All of this could have been avoided if Nichole told me the truth about the house and I proceeded with the dissolution instead of the divorce.

Some other issues that I had with Nicole were how she changed/upped her fee midway through our case after we had a set price on the case. Throughout the case, Nichole wouldn’t answer emails in a professionally timely manner, and I would have to constantly have to drive to her office asking for an appointment to talk to her which cost more money. There was always an excuse from her or her firm about why no one answered the emails.

On my first court appearance which was held in Cambridge, I had to track Nichole down prior to seeing if our Zoom call request was approved or if I had to drive to Cambridge. I didn’t find out until days before the court date that I had to drive to Cambridge. After court, I would ask for months about what debts my ex had so we could compare and never get answers. Nicole would tell me m, my ex’s lawyer wouldn’t answer the phone or communicate with her.

To me, this is unprofessional, and her job is to communicate with the opposing side or talk to the court if they won’t communicate. This would cost more money and prove us to be unprepared in court.

On the final court appearance, which was on a Monday, Nichole asked for updated paperwork on the weekend/ two days prior (when the businesses were closed) to the court date after I kept asking if she needed anything for the court date. My ex was supposed to pay for her car and Nichole didn’t fight for me until my sister brought up how my ex could pay for her car out of the house profit; If my sister hadn’t said anything that would have cost me another $14,000.00.

After court, I had to track down the court paperwork because Nicole did not take the initiative to check up to see where the divorce decree was. These are just some of the issues that I had from Nicole representing me. Hopefully, this can be a warning to other people, so they get a lawyer that fights for them and don’t have the same negative experience that I had.
