If I could assign zero stars, I certainly would. My experience with this attorney has been deeply unsatisfactory. Initially, I paid $5,000, only to be asked for an additional $5,000 to continue postponing my case, followed by yet another request for $5,000. The matter concerning the welfare of my children is serious; there are police reports documenting the mother's abusive behavior. While my lawyer appeared sympathetic to her situation and expressed concern about her lack of representation, I was under the impression that my payments were for dedicated legal service rather than prolonged delays. I occasionally wonder if my lawyer had someone else take the bar exam for her, as I felt more knowledgeable about legal matters. It was concerning to hear her use inappropriate language, which may indicate her background. Furthermore, she questioned my intentions regarding the children's education and living arrangements, especially in relation to their mother's residence in a challenging area of Compton. It is disheartening to have invested $15,000, only to witness the other party gaining advantages rather than prioritizing the best interests of the children. I urge others to carefully evaluate their options to avoid the pitfalls I faced. I have reported this attorney to the bar association and am pursuing legal action for defamation. I am grateful to my new attorney at Yang Law, who has been extremely supportive and has helped me achieve sole custody after only two meetings with the judge. The mother is now required to attend classes and pay child support. Here’s to a more positive path forward!

This person who claims to be a lawyer leaves much to be desired. Just because someone calls themselves a lawyer doesn't mean they are one. A lawyer never calls to threaten you, nor does she threaten you when you question her claims. This person intimidates me and thinks that because she feels like a lawyer, she's entitled to it. Doesn't she know there's a system for this? There are authorities who conduct investigations, and just because she says something has to be done doesn't mean it should be done. Besides, she yells at you as if she has a personal problem; she doesn't know anything about professional ethics.

Beatriz did a great job at advocating for our child during a very difficult battle. She was assigned by the court to represent our daughters best interest and that is exactly what she did. I understand that custody battles are always overwhelming for all parties involved but at the end of the day, it's the child and their needs that need to be considered above everything else.
