Otherwise it would definitely be no 1 star, I will more than likely be canceling my membership with LegalShield membership due to my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by your network attorney. If she was a representation of the services they offer than this was a bad investment, I signed up for LegalShield to obtain a clear understanding of my rights as a tenant in Nevada. Unfortunately, the attorney I spoke with was highly dismissive of my situation, despite the extensive documentation and information I provided. My leasing company failed to restore essential services when our air conditioning went out during temperatures exceeding 100 degrees outside and 110 degrees inside. We were left without essential services for 12 days. As a direct result, I was hospitalized for a respiratory issue, missed work, lost food due to spoiling, and had to purchase portable AC units and incurred several other expenses due to inhabitability of the home. Furthermore, the management company explicitly advised me to secure a hotel for my family with no restrictions but has since failed to reimburse me or deduct the cost from my upcoming rent, as my rent was already paid in full. The management company was fully aware that the home required electrical work to support a functioning AC unit, as two separate technicians informed them of the faulty wiring. Instead, they installed a unit that quickly failed. As of today, in August, the AC is out once again. A technician came by to assess and informed me it was you guessed it, the wiring. Despite these facts and the protections outlined in NRS 118A.380, the attorney told me to seek reimbursement from MY insurance company, completely dismissing the owner's willful negligence and the fact that the home was uninhabitable for 12 days. Also failing to hold the owner accountable for willful negligence and failure to make a good faith effort to restore essential services and breach of leasing agreement. And for the record renters insurance does not reimburse for the a failed ac unit in the Nevada. Per State Farm 😒 Although Google already told me before I called. This service was entirely inadequate, and I could have instead utilized the military JAG office to assist me with a demand letter. Which is what I did. I guess i could have saved myself some money and used my free services.

I've been very happy with Dempsey Roberts Smith. I had a student loan situation that haunted me. It was fraudulent it kept going for years. We finally located The source in Dempsey Robertson Smith sent a letter to them that was a four-pager. They immediately ceased action. Sometimes it's necessary to take action and send a letter, and 90% of the situation, he gets resolved with letter.

I have to say they are probably the worst law firm to deal with. The female lawyer is rude and short. Does not want to explain or actually do her job? I am very, very dissatisfied with their service at this moment. You send them information with that. Is in regards to one case? And they try to tell you that it has to be separated. And you're gonna get charged for each one? Even though that all of it goes together because it's all retaliation. So then they don't want to handle it. And literally refuse to process things, just not a good lawyer's service. At all.
