Law Office of Shimer Zach

Back in December 2025 I was issued a citation by a Metro cop for Improper Display due to a plate cover that allegedly obstructed my license plates. When I asked the cop if this citation was had a simple solution like removing the alleged obstruction and showing a Metro cop at a substation of my compliance with what seemed to me to be a fix it ticket that can be resolved in this manner, he told me that I didn't have that option since this citation was for a civil infraction and not a criminal one.
3 months later, I decided to go to the LV Justice Court to resolve this issue, but when I looked at the court operating hours they were only open Monday to Thursday, and this was already the Friday before my scheduled court appearance the following Monday( Oh snap! ). I tried to find my case number online with the Justice Court but couldn't find it( a serious no bueno) which meant that I would have show up at 7:30 am the following Monday which I could not attend due to prior obligations.
I looked up lawyers that specialized in the handling of traffic tickets and found the Law Office of Shimer Zach. I spoke with an awesome lady named Maria who was super kind and knowledgeable about cases like mine. Maria didn't only find my case on the Justice Court online she also explained to me that my citation for the alleged civil infraction was actually filed as a criminal case( which would have meant that if I failed to appear in Court as scheduled the judge would have issued a bench warrant for my arrest ).
I guess the cop that issued me the citation was either a liar, or incompetent and didn't know what he was talking about or both( and people wonder why the public has become leery and suspicious of the cops and their motives).
Anyhow, Maria was able to schedule an attorney from the Law Office to appear on my behalf for a nominal fee. She also told me that I might still have pay a fine.
On the court date in the afternoon, Maria reached out and informed me that not only was my citation resolved it was DISMISSED, CLOSED, and I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY A FINE!
