My wife and I have had the pleasure of working closely with Lisa Carney and Heather De Vrieze in the past. I have also referred several of my friends and clients to them, and every experience has been excellent. They are both highly ethical, reasonable, compassionate, and genuinely supportive. It is refreshing to see attorneys who truly care about their clients and conduct themselves with such integrity. We highly recommend Lisa and Heather and would not hesitate to refer our friends, family, and clients to them. It’s wonderful to see attorneys like them in this day and age.

We worked with Heather of De Vrieze and Carney to update our will and create a trust. She was competent, polite, and talkative. The initial visit was nearly 2 hours and we came away feeling that we didn’t get our questions answered. She did completed the will and trust in a reasonable amount of time, but we were never contacted to schedule a follow up visit. Instead, we received a bill for the second half of the payment. When I spoke to the person at the front desk, she was rude stating “that’s how they run their business and would I like to schedule an appointment now.” One month later we had a follow up appointment. Heather was much more clear about what each part of the document meant and explained the language involved. The final product was excellent, however, when I addressed the poor customer service, there was very little accountability. When paying thousands of dollars to have somebody help you with something is important as a will and trust, I would expect better customer service and accountability. Good product, marginal service, 3.5 stars.

I’ve worked with a lot of national and international law firms, in a corporate capacity, so I have some experience working with law firms that charge as much as $2,000 per hour! Don’t worry, de Vrieze Carney isn’t that kind of firm! I was referred here by a friend for a will and some medical documents. They got me in quickly. The information gathering process was easy. Kailei was great to work with and I got good service and expertise at a rate that regular families can afford. Count me as super happy.

Always great and personable service, with people who are quick to do what they can for clients. I would absolutely work with them again.

We had our wills and directives completed with Kailei and feel great about the completion and professionalism experience we had. We now have confidence our future concerns have been addressed along with support going forward.
