I am very upset with my experience with this law firm. I paid in full and I feel like that was my mistake. Communication has been awful. I can never get ahold of anyone. A simple divorce has been dragged out for over a year. I am considering looking into help on how to get my money back from this law firm. Do not recommend.

Dave is exactly what you want in your attorney. He is an honest pro with a good heart who really invests in his clients. He doesn´t over-promise or sugarcoat things which for me was very refreshing as I generally do not like or trust attorneys. He is also incredibly qualified, knows the local community re courts and family law is his life. Fees, beyond fair for what he will do for you. My family is much better off because we hired the right man for the job. Not done yet, but getting to where we need to be. Thank you David!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with David Phillips Law. At first, I believed this was a professional and trustworthy firm, but my experience has shown otherwise. From the beginning, I was unable to speak directly with the attorney unless the retainer fee was paid first. After my payment was made, communication became very poor. My case involved only one court appearance and one settlement conference, yet I paid $1,200 and have now been waiting over two months for my remaining balance to be returned. My case was resolved on March 2, and it is now June. I still have not received an invoice, an accounting of the services billed, a refund of any remaining balance, or clear answers. Each time I call the office, I am told someone will get back to me, but I have not received a return call. The communication has been extremely frustrating, and I feel my concerns have not been handled with professionalism or urgency. Once the firm received my payment, it felt like the level of customer service and communication declined significantly. Being ignored or brushed aside after paying for legal services is unacceptable. At this point, I am considering taking further action to recover any money that may be rightfully owed to me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm. Clients deserve clear communication, honesty, timely responses, and respect.
