Like other reviews I also would not recommend this law firm.

Our HOA retained her services and ultimately ended up going to court. Lost the case then Appealed the case, and lost that as well. One judgement alone was over $59,000!

I owned and ran an association management company in the treasure Valley for 12 years and also served on a couple of HOA boards where I lived. A number of times I utilized Brindee for HOA legal consultation and always found her to be extremely knowledgeable and current on Idaho Association law. Equally important, she takes a reasonable and logical approach to analyzing situations and provides an honest assessment ....as opposed to other attorneys I have worked with who will take and "milk" a case, even when there's not really a case to be had. I highly recommend utilizing Brindee's services and I'm confident that you will get a lot of value out of her services.

I write this review a year after retaining Brindee Collins and working closely with her as the president of a 253-member HOA. We faced a unique situation in that the entire leadership of a prior board had been voted out for autocratically filing a lawsuit against a developer that the majority of homeowners opposed. A new board was voted in to address this impasse. After interviewing 3 different HOA specialist attorneys, Brindee was the standout candidate. She is a seasoned expert who tells it like it is with confidence and assurance. Brindee helped us navigate a contentious issue that had divided our close-knit neighborhood. She masterfully chaired several emotionally-charged neighborhood meetings with aplomb and effortless charm. She is creative, persistent, and a hard worker who goes the extra mile to ensure every base is covered and to achieve a successful outcome. Looking back, Brindee Collins was the best and smartest decision this board has made. I would recommend her without reservation to any HOA that needs a tireless, passionate advocate in its corner.

Brindee is an excellent attorney. I have worked with her for over four years and she is absolutely at the top of her game. Not only is she knowledgeable, professional and extremely personable with her clients, she is not afraid to take on “The BigGuys”
attempting to take advantage of older HOA’s, not on her watch! I highly recommend Brindee to any HOA needing legal assistance no matter how big or small the matter may be, you will be glad you did.

We reached out to Brindee to help sort the fallout of an HOA case in which the local judge had made a sloppy mistake in signing an Order that was gravely different than his initial Ruling on the case - thus preventing our HOA from upholding our own CC&R's going forward. A lawyer on this case had also purposefully misrepresented Idaho law. We were aware that Ms. Collins had been a colleague of one of the bad actors in this case. We initially thought that might be a benefit. Ms. Collins eventually met with us and took our money, but once she was made aware of the facts of the case, she seemed to us to take the stance, oddly, that we should NOT take any legal action or path to justice with this matter because it "would not change anything." Other than bringing justice to our neighbors and upholding Idaho law, you know, but these things did not at all appear to be her priority. In my opinion, she was more concerned with making sure the matter of the court's mistake go unaddressed. She also had many delays in email responses and we wasted valuable time waiting for her counsel when we could have been seeking actual legal advice elsewhere. She ended up just not responding at all. I think they call that "ghosting." She also, in my opinion, seemed to suggest that myself and my neighbors just accept the aftermath of harassment of this botched matter that occurred from the criminal neighbors - which has continued to escalate and caused several families to move out of our subdivision. She was well aware that these bad neighbors had multiple police reports and charges against them from assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. Don't hire this attorney if you need actual justice or any hard work done on your behalf.

UPDATE: She actually did finally try to call us -- because of this review! Yes, within 24 hours of it's posting, which is unheard of for her. And we had changed our phone number, so she really had to dig! Ms. Collins apparently 'springs to life' for Google reviews, but not for you or I. I don't know what her concern was regarding this review (go figure), but I have made edits to protect others involved and so that she does not attempt to stalk our family.
