I was represented by BD&J law firm after being rear ended by a semi truck. I called cohen and Marzban to ask if what my attorney was telling me was true. That they could get my $600k plus back surgery reduced to under $200k. Cohen and Marzban called me back and said my attorney never filed loss of consortium case for my wife and that millions of dollars could be left on the table. After they also claimed BD&J was not handling my case right they convinced me to fire BD&J and hire them. So my wife and I did and we truly regret it. They promised my wife that she would receive $150k if she just signed a release of her claim against BD&J for legal malpractice. We wanted them to put the amount she would receive in writing and they claimed they couldn’t because it could be a little more or less but they reassured us that they would never do anything to breach their fiduciary responsibility. But as soon as the money came in they immediately claimed it was all theirs and my wife got nothing, zero. I have filed consumer fraud complaint and will be seeking charges by the DA. BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS LAW FIRM COHEN AND MARZBAN AND DEMAND ANYTHING THEY SAY IN WRITING.
