Lauren (Engle) was an incredible resource and extremely kind. I followed her when she moved to Children First. She was very honest with me in the beginning that my case could go either way and to not have high expectations, but that she thought it was worth pursuing. She helped me understand how different choices might affect my case, but made it clear that in the end I was in control of how we did things, which was really important to me considering how low the opposing client was willing to go.
