Over the past two years my wife and I have trusted some of the most unfortunate and difficult topics into the hands of the Cantor Law Group team. Specifically, Michaela and Rebekah (too many others to name). These two consistently worked with me to process in depth information against opposing counsel whose primary tactic was to focus on defaming my character. This review will be a very transparent post:

99% of the time, when you need a lawyer, things are not great. When I was separating from the USAF in 2022 and I had to take a job in another state, CLG took on my case with precision and ferocity (when another firm dropped the ball). The details of my attempt to relocate my child were not complex, but dealing with the opposing side was. If you're in a situation where opposition may fight dirty... Cantor Law Group is prepared.

Rebekah Burz' attention to detail and strong foundational knowledge of family law often disarmed the lies that were targeted at my character - as that was a majority of the case formed against me. But, it was more than attention to detail. Michaela was quick and concise with all the administrative work - a true professional in clerical work for the team that represented me (deserves much credit). When I was feeling unsure, or even when there was evidence that didn't bode well, when I was faced with what felt like a mountain of impossibility, Rebekah and Michaela were unrelenting in reassuring me how things could go. If you're the type of person that can handle being told the truth, and you need representation, you must consider this team. I found it to be far more valuable to have a team that would tend to my anecdotal concerns by responding with data than to be told everything I wanted to hear. It made me trust the teams strategy - which I got to be part of devising instead of just sitting back. Trusting the strategy paid off.

Rebekah was patient and prepared me on more than one occasion for conferences and court appearances. In as much as it was able to be controlled, I won in the areas that mattered.

Cost
While cost is almost always a concern for a client, I asked myself in the end of all I went through, "Was this worth it?" The answer is yes. The monetary value is its own thing. I would challenge any reader going through a tough family event, "Can you afford to not pay for a great team?" What are you willing to lose based on a dollar amount? Be honest with yourself. What is reasonable to each person is just that - but I found the overall experience and monetary cost to be worth it.

If you want to be heard, if you want to know your documents are handled accordingly, if you want to work with a team that will partner you in on the strategy of your case, consider this team. Consider giving your business to CLG. Yes, it is a business. But my experience has been that they genuinely care.

Would have had the same results at a fraction of the cost with a public defender, tbh. It all felt like a giant money grab praying on someone’s moment of need. This has caused me to decide to become more legally knowledgeable so that myself or family are never ripped off by lawyers again.
I will give the extra star because the initial lawyer I worked with was great at communicating, but even then it was the hot potato with files and cases so who I started with, I did not end with.

Long story short, my attorney and Paralegal were awesome. You can really tell the difference in quality. My now ex's attorney was the same price but did nothing except make some easy money. Andrea Banks (my attorney) absolutely smashed this case and helped a ton. Making sure to get the most done while also trying to be cost effective. Still costed me an arm and half a leg but the was because of my ex. Over all an amazing experience with Cantor Law Group and I'm glad I picked them.
