**DO NOT HIRE FOR FAMILY LAW — MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE** I hired Chris in 2023 to represent me in a family-law matter involving my children. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend him based on my experience. At the time, I was young and unfamiliar with the court system, and I relied heavily on my attorney to explain my options and protect my interests. Instead, I ultimately signed paperwork that resulted in me giving up important parental rights. I did not fully understand the consequences of what I was signing at the time. The case involved my children’s grandparents. I felt that important information was not properly presented or addressed in court. There were allegations and statements included in the case that, from my perspective, were based on assumptions rather than firsthand evidence. I also had documentation and personal circumstances that I felt were not adequately considered. To this day, I continue to struggle with limited communication and contact with my children, including difficulties communicating with them on birthdays and holidays. This has been incredibly painful as a mother. I have remained at the same residence for more than five years, and my children have their own rooms there. I have always wanted to provide a stable home for them. I am sharing my experience because I wish I had known more about the family-court process and had felt better informed and represented. **Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Chris for family-law matters.** Please do your own research, ask questions, understand every document before signing it, and make sure you feel confident that your attorney is clearly explaining your rights and options.
