My wife and I have had a "clean" relationship with the IRS since Moses was just a young pup. By clean, I mean we (over)paid early every year, kept clean records and generally made nice. Of course, when we had our biggest income year EVER (due to the sale of a closely held business) everything went to hell in a hand basket. Suffice it to say that errors made by those we hired to represent us (think - never filed our taxes) put us in the sights of the IRS to the tune of uncomfortably into the six figures. Of the MANY lessons learned for this drawn out saga, the most important was that the best decision we made was retaining the services of Brandon Keim with Frazer, Ryan, Goldberg & Arnold.
