My wife and I have had a "clean" relationship with the IRS since Moses was just a young pup. By clean, I mean we (over)paid early every year, kept clean records and generally made nice. Of course, when we had our biggest income year EVER (due to the sale of a closely held business) everything went to hell in a hand basket. Suffice it to say that errors made by those we hired to represent us (think - never filed our taxes) put us in the sights of the IRS to the tune of uncomfortably into the six figures. Of the MANY lessons learned for this drawn out saga, the most important was that the best decision we made was retaining the services of Brandon Keim with Frazer, Ryan, Goldberg & Arnold. Brandon quickly and efficiently sorted the wheat from the chafe to get what he needed to clean things up with the IRS on our behalf. The result was a complete turnaround, with a 6 figure bill becoming a 6 figure refund. And, the billing was a literal pittance compared to the savings. Almost as important as the finances, we can sleep again! If this sounds like a commercial, that's because it is. I spent much of my professional career dealing with law firms and can count on two fingers (Brandon being one) the attorneys and firms I would retain with complete confidence in the competence of their expertise AND integrity of their billing. If you find yourself in a situation that sounds even remotely like ours, you have my sincere condolences. And, if you have hired Brandon and his firm, my congratulations and best wishes for an outstanding resolution.
