I don't write many reviews. I don't like negativity or electronics. But I have given Richard too many chances.

I contacted Bottom line lawyers to help me with the administration of my father's trust in Aug of 2023.

One of the things they were going to help with was the filing for prop 19 exemption from tax reassessment on my father's house. I gave them 7500 to get them started. I had to remind them multiple times to file the paperwork. Finally got filed because I went down to their office and demanded to get it done before the 1 year deadline of Dec 22 2023. Finally got filed just a day or 2 before it was too late. That was 1 o 2 formsthat are to be filed to receive the exemption. The second form has a 3 yr deadline.

Richard advises me to create an LLc. to be able to do some things my father had asked me to do when he knew it was time. Oh by the way. The LLc is a seperate matter, so how about another 2000 retainer for that. Which then gets outsourced to someone else.

Ok. Fast forward to about Aug 2024. I call the office and ask to meet with Richard and David multiple times. Thats like 5 or 6 phone calls requesting for a call back. Richard and David finally agree to meet with me. I get an appointment on the schedule. Then I get rescheduled multiple times. I'm pretty sure it was 3, maybe 4. Then the day finally arrives. I make it down to the office ten or fifteen minutes early. They make me wait ten minutes passed the scheduled time. They were in the other room on a Zoom call with some kind of communications coach. Anyway, I get to go into David's office, and David comes in. I ask if Richard is going to join us. He says he's busy. So David and I start to talk about the LLc. I realize that he has no idea what Richard and I had talked about. He had set it up much different than Richard and I had agreed. So, now I ask for Richard again. My request is dodged. Now I must demand for Richard to show up to the meeting that we had scheduled. So Richard comes over and Joins us. I get the opportunity to share with Richard my frustrations with his firm. LLc set up wrong, nothing done for the trust administration, nothing else done for the prop 19 exemption. But I will give Richard one thing. I recieved my bill every month without fail, even twice a month when he was changing platforms. So, Richard blamed much of the miscommunication on one of his employees. He apologize for the inconvenience, thanked me for the opportunity to make it right. He refunded me a very small amount of the fees I had been double charged. He reaurred me that things would get handeled.

That was August-ish. Well, shortly after this meeting, some notices were sent out and David drafted a contract for me. Then nothing again. I asked multiple times if the prop 19 paperwork had been taken are of. David told me that it had, but there was an issue and it was going to have to be appealed. He was waiting g on something from the county. Well, Jan came ND I decided to call the county myself. Turns out the County never got the paperwork. There was no need to appeal. All I had to do was print sign and turn I. The form that could have been files at the same time as the first one.
So, now I try to contact Richard to ask about this situation. No returned call or email. After a dozen phone calls I tell his secretary that I want a refund. Still no response. I call a few more times trying to get him on the phone to at least agree to a refund. Still nothing. Not til I go down to his office, witness someone leave and get told that he has someone in his office and he can't see me. Then his secretary goes in and talks to him( which I think would be weird if he was with a client). She comes out and tells me that the decision to close my case had already been made. That I should be hearing from someone soon.

I walked into the hallway and asked him(through the door) to see me. He stayed silent. Well, I have yet to recieve an email, phone call, or anything from his office. Oh wait, I did recieve another bill. But nothing regarding the closing of my account.
