In 2023, Jon D. Lydell acted as trustee for my ex-spouse during our divorce. Despite not being my attorney, he inserted himself into negotiations, sent communications that misrepresented my contributions to the marriage, and collaborated with opposing counsel to push financial demands inconsistent with records I submitted.
I notified him of a family health emergency (my father’s hospitalization and heart transplant), but received no acknowledgment or flexibility. He only continued pressure during a highly stressful time.
Mr. Lydell recently responded publicly, claiming he “never communicated” with me and that I was divorced due to “anger and abuse.” This is false.
