If you are feeling like there isn’t hope out there and you’re in a never ending battle for your circumstance, please give this firm a try. I had two attorneys prior to Borshchak Law Group. I was truly hesitant to trust anyone but didn’t have a choice, I needed help. My case was regarding shared parenting. I wanted the plan changed and for the past 3 years my daughter has needed help for ADHD (diagnosed). Since our divorce in 2020, this is our 3rd time in court. Different attorney each time. THIS time was different. This time, my attorney listened to me. She stayed ahead of the game & talked me through everything. I was always in the loop and there was always a plan. My attorney is fairly new to practicing law but she blew my other two “seasoned” attorneys away. She fought hard for my daughter and I and we accomplished the goal. Always professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I have dealt with the other parties attorneys each time in court and nobody ever stood up to him. I was very worried about this, for good reason but - for no reason. She fought right back. I am so grateful to have found them and to know where I can go in the future if necessary. From the beginning to end, the entire group does work together as a team. They care about each other and their clients. Leigh also assisted me multiple times, if Kerri wasn’t available - and with a helpful and positive attitude. My stress levels were so high and they understood this, and always kept me grounded. Financially I can say it was very comparable to the others but… the work actually got done here. I also received itemized statements periodically and once completed, I received the money back from my trust that wasn’t used. This has only ever happened from this group. If you choose another law group, I hope they are half the firm this one is. Getting divorced (even when it's uncontested and amicable) is a daunting prospect, but I'm happy to say that working with the excellent team at the Borshchak Law Group made it about as painless as one could have hoped for. From the initial consultation, and the in-person meeting to sign all the necessary documents, to the actual hearing before the judge, the process was handled efficiently and sensitively - which made both of us feel very comfortable and well-served throughout the process. The best part was working with Hank Sonderman and Leigh Tennison, who were both very personable, friendly and helpful. They even made sure that our hearing was able to be done via Zoom call with our judge - which due to work conflicts and mobility issues, would have been very difficult had we needed to appear before the judge in person.
