We were very impressed with the service and expertise of Bannon Law Group! Jake Spandorfer handled a tricky property tax matter for us in Jasper County (we are out of state clients) and went above and beyond to ensure that we were made whole. We also had the opportunity to speak with Meredith Bannon who is very knowledgeable regarding property law. Overall, they were the bright spot in a discouraging situation for us. We can't recommend them highly enough!

I had a very frustrating and unnecessarily difficult experience working with this HOA’s legal/management team.

Despite making a good faith effort to resolve a relatively small balance, including submitting a $500 payment and beginning a structured payment plan, my account was escalated quickly and over $800 in legal fees were added.

The biggest issue throughout this process was the lack of clarity and communication. The payment plan documents were vague and did not clearly outline due dates or provide a complete schedule, particularly regarding quarterly HOA assessments. Given that these agreements referenced serious consequences like foreclosure, I requested a clear and detailed breakdown, which is a reasonable expectation.

Instead of working collaboratively to clarify the terms, responses were dismissive and rigid. I was told the schedule was “fully written out,” despite clear inconsistencies and missing details. Even after making timely payments and covering additional costs, including overnighting payments to meet their deadlines, the tone remained inflexible and unhelpful.

The process felt overly aggressive for the balance involved, and there was little effort to ensure transparency or fairness. Communication lacked professionalism, and simple requests for clarification were treated as obstacles rather than opportunities to resolve the issue.

I understand the importance of enforcing HOA policies, but the approach here felt disproportionate and unnecessarily difficult. I would strongly encourage improvements in communication, transparency, and overall handling of homeowner accounts.

Our closing experience was unexpectedly complex, presenting challenges we had not anticipated. Meredith and her team navigated every step with exceptional care, professionalism, and expertise. We are truly grateful to have had such a diligent and dedicated group guiding us through the process, ensuring everything was handled seamlessly.
