I had been pulled over for a stop sign violation and reached out to these fine folks. The fee was more than fair and the process was super easy. Relieved my stress for not having to show up on the court date. Just heard today my case was dismissed. I am extremely pleased and I would not hesitate to use Arnold & Smith in the future (even though I hope I never have to again!). Thanks for the great work!

I retained this firm after reviewing their advertising and online materials, which indicated representation in my county. Based on that, I expected a certain level of involvement and communication.

After signing a written agreement and paying a retainer, I was assigned a different attorney than the one featured in the marketing materials. I was not placed in communication with the attorney highlighted in the firm’s advertising prior to court.

The written agreement referenced bond being addressed before a judge. At my court appearance, bond was not handled through counsel as I had anticipated based on the agreement, and I ultimately coordinated directly with my bondsman.

On the day of court, I informed my assigned attorney by phone that I was approximately 10–20 minutes delayed due to parking and courthouse access issues. When I arrived, I was informed he was no longer present in the courtroom. The practical result was that I stood before the court without the attorney I retained physically present at that time.

My experience with communication during the representation was also difficult. In my view, phone conversations felt dismissive and abrasive, and certain exchanges came across as unnecessarily confrontational. I did not feel supported in the way I expected after retaining counsel.

Although the firm later refunded the initial fee, the experience was stressful and disruptive. This review reflects my personal experience. Anyone considering this firm should ask clear questions about who will personally appear in court, how bond matters will be handled, and what communication standards to expect.
